We've experienced an issue with our upstream SMS provider (disruption lasted 20 minutes) - this has now been resolved and outbound SMS services are recovering. We will update with further information on root cause.

SMS outbound issues are now resolved at our upstream SMS provider. The root cause was related to Cloudflare, which is still undergoing connectivity issues:  https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/kwy3dt82bwbt. Our SMS provider has bypassed Cloudflare and the issue as resolved. Please contact us at support@alive5.com if you continue experiencing problems.

We are currently experiencing a service disruption with one of our upstream SMS providers, which is preventing some Alive5 customers from sending outbound text messages. Affected users may be seeing 522 error codes when sending messages. Inbound texts are not affected. We are actively working with our upstream provider to resolve the issue and will share an ETA as soon as one is available. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Cloudflare has indicated that the issue has been resolved. There are still reports of issues in different regions. While occasional intermittent issues may still occur, please contact us at support@alive5.com if you continue experiencing problems.

A cloud infrastructure service provider, Cloudflare has been undergoing a global outage this morning partially affecting some Alive5 SMS users (as well as other major internet services). For Alive5 users, you may be seeing errors in the console, undeliverable text messages. So far this is impacting a segment of SMS users, live chat users are unaffected. Our team will be monitoring this issue and providing updates at https://www.alive5.com/service-status.
