Broadcasts
Key Features
- Send personalized bulk SMS/MMS texts to contacts based on segmented groups.
- Create Broadcast from a .CSV file upload or by tagging contacts in Alive5.
- Create a Broadcast once, and send another Broadcast to the same list without needing to re-create another Broadcast.
- If contacts are tagged or untagged, or if the contact opts out (via STOP) the Broadcast list is automatically updated.
- Broadcasts can be sent by Admins and Agents. Agents’ contacts can be shared or not shared with other Agents. If Agent access is needed, please reach out to support@alive5.com.
✨ Current default limits for Broadcasts are:
- 500 Contacts per upload
- Sending one Broadcast at a time
- Admin user role access
New features include:
- Scheduled Broadcast
- Include image (MMS) attachments

Downloadable .CSV Template
These are the headers you must use in your .CSV file. Before uploading to Alive5, be sure to match your existing contact data to these headers. Click below to download the CSV file and populate it with your own contact data. The only field required is the phone column, the other ones are optional. For example, if you have first names, you can use it as a variable in your broadcast message to make it more personalized. The key is you must have first names for every row / record or the individual broadcast message may not format correctly.
